Both 'patriarchy'and 'feminism' are classically overused and inappropriately by misandrists quite regularly.

Unfortunately it's not worth having that discussion, so let them have their loud and proud moment, and enjoy the fact that 90 % are spoon fed keyboard warrior without really understanding what they are saying.

The actual feminists are quite nice people 😁 and have alot of good things to say about men.

Yes because regardless of the speaker intentions feminism as a whole political force is causing real damage to men and society. However you shouldnt be mean to that speaker either, but being annoyed by it makes sense to me.

It is perfectly normal.

I am a married man now, but when I was looking for potential wife (since like 25, and I am 33 now), I made some kind of a red flag list:

She says that she is feminist and really is about it.
She is vegan. Not vegetarian, because say, she is a Buddhist. Precisely vegan.
She is from single-mom family. (Exceptions are:her father died or was a real fucking jerk, and her mom divorced him asap).
She does not work. (I do not mind to be sole breadwinner, but having some kind of more or less adequate work is a sign of self-sustainable person).
She has too many exes. Like over 5-7 (depends on age).
She is on a dating app.
She hates children.

Mind you, this is all valid for my specific country wich is not USA. And feminists here are either teenage girls (not my rarget audience, because I am not a pedophile) or batshit crazy women.
