One of the multiple choice questions asked about how to improve diversity. The only possible answer was (others saying no change or not related):

C.) Hiring more females and minorities

This is not how you increase diversity. Diversity isn't having more females or minorities. To me that's like saying "Our office hires people who like Dr Who and people who prefer Star Trek." It's smug, irrelevant and doesn't actually contribute anything to the work environment. A white male and a black female might have the exact same opinions, work ethics, preferences, ambitions and skills. How do we know they are more diverse than two white males who are completely juxtaposed to each other? If one is a bad worker, lazy, uneducated and the other spent 12 years studying, how could that be considered "Not Diverse Enough" when they are clearly diametrically opposed?

This kind of racism and sexism assumes that males, females and races are inherently separate and need to be mixed. I'll hold no judgments if they don't, I judge people on character not a category of a tax form.
