This teacher sounds like a sick, disgusting and despicable person.

Let's please include boys and men to the other demographics/groups for whom it is already politically incorrect and tabuisized to direct collective punishment, blame, resentment, biases, prejudices and hate. Otherwise it would be a double-standard.

In which country do you live?

You might report this teacher (highlighting there to remain anonymous to not face revenge from the teacher) at the head of school to be a misandrist and to change this nationalsocialist behaviour or face consequences for it,like being suspended for weeks or months or losing the job if she insists to continue treating boys that way or telling it lots of parents.

Your English seems pretty good for your third language. The teacher was definitely sexist. Teachers like her are literally and metaphorically failing men in our school systems.

Boys become men, so its relevant.

Nonviolent disobedience, resulted in good things and understanding.

I wish more students had such backbone. They used to when i was younger(although it was running low), now i'm a crummy adult and can only lament the education systems which are teaching things that are sexist, racist and actually harmful to people, but especially those who are young.

Glad she got reprimanded, not glad you got a warning. Instead, I think you should have got encouragement and understanding.

I was a special needs student and I was in medications because I get farther behind in the compulsory learning environment. Trust me boys are more likely to get ADHD than girls. Sometimes teachers don't know the difference between boys and girls. I'm not taking shot against women or teachers, but boys are heavily diagnose than girls. So if I have kids someday, I will do some school vouchers learning for my kids to be more neutral in the climate in school

This shit happens. If 95% of k-8th grade are women, there is bound to be some bit hating teachers. There shouldn't be but classrooms are not always monitored and observed secretly.

In our school, it was the practice to stand up and wish the teacher when she entered.

I suspect you mean 'greet' the teacher, or something like that.

She, predictably, got furious, as we 'disrespected' her. The matter went to the principal and she(principal) initially was very angry but became softer after she heard our point of view. The teacher was reprimanded and we were let off with a ceremonial warning.

I wonder if she really got reprimanded. Was it verbal or written in her record? Is there a school code that students must greet the teacher? If not the boys did not break any rules.
