I just reported it to Kickstarter as a violation of their "obscene, hateful, or objectionable content" community guideline. Hopefully, it'll get removed.

I have no problem with this game. I only point out that strange double standard around violence against men and women in the media. We can have a card game where castration is the primary victory condition, and that is considered ok. But conversely when Anita Sarkesian points out that you have the option to kill the women in the strip club level of Hitman Absolution, while omitting the fact that the player is not required to kill the strippers to complete the level. But is actually penalized for killing the strippers. Furthermore that the overwhelming majority of the people who the game requires to kill are male. Suddenly violence against women in video games in a major problem.

Or in short, you can make all the board games, card games, computer games, movies, etc you want about castrating men. As long as you shut the fuck up about being able to shoot hookers in grand theft auto. Card games about castrating men is protected by freedom of expression as much as shooting hookers in grand theft auto is.

I dunno, someone start one. We know what's probably going to happen, but force their hand. Prove it. Make them affirm the double standard. Keep copies of all the comments on both projects and provide them for public scrutiny.

While I have no particular interest in seeing this censored, it'll be interesting to see how Kickstarter handles, given that it would seem to violate their own terms of service. I have a sneaking suspicion that since the gender being targeted for violence in the game is male, they'll ignore TOS violation reports and let the fundraiser carry on.
