I recently moved, and noticed that a local restaurant is charing men twice what they are charging women for the same food. To me this is a severe injustice that greatly bothers me. However, the friends/coworkers I've mentioned this outrage to dismiss it, accept it, or even approve of it.

I actually believe a buisness should be able to charge more for men if they choose, but that is not what we have here. We have a situation where if a business were it is de facto illegal to discriminate against women this way, but they are able to do so to men. Basically we have that ban discrimination based on sex, but they are only enforced when women are the ones being discriminated against.

I would like to take legal action here and am willing to spend a few thousand on this, just on principle, but would I even have a case? What should I do here? And more importantly, why does no one else see this as an inexcusable policy?
