Basic negotiation tactics. You control 60%, but want 80%. You start negotiation by demanding 100%. Then you back down to 80%. By labeling everything patriarchy, the intention is to start negotiations ahead of your adversary.

Politics works the same way.

It's very dishonest and disillusioning when you can see this play out again and again for all eternity.

The definition of "patriarchy" is:

"a system of society or government in which men hold the power and women are largely excluded from it"

We live in a democracy where women comprise 53% of voters. Given that fact, it's impossible to argue that women are "excluded from power". We have the governments that women wanted, by definition.

The ideology of feminism is nonsense from top to bottom. This is just another data point confirming the Iron Law of Feminism:

"Whatever feminists claim, the opposite of that is the truth".
