if you can stretch your foreskin back soft, just work at streaching it out (at the lips, pull them out) for a while. Do not get cut, your doctor is full of shit.

If just streaching it doesn't work, try to get some coconut oil and basically rub it around the foreskin lips and jerk it lol. The motion + the lubrication should pull it back.

If you try that for a few months and it doesn't work get a dorsal slit. They don't actually cut anything off.

Stretching and steroid cream will cure most cases. You just have to stick with it, it can take time. Lots of people give up way too quickly. Failing that, preputioplasty.

Made an account for this. I was in the exact same position as you, including your experience with the doctor. My doc treated me like shit, too. I had bad self esteem back then, so I rolled with it. I had the circumcision, through which I lost a great deal of sensitivity. So I would definitely recommend against it. You should see another doctor.

You might possibly have a yeast infection (or maybe you don't, how could I tell?) It can prohibit your foreskin from stretching.

You could buy some Anti Fungal creme, or Anti Tinea creme, or Miconazole Nitrate, or anything similar. Work it into the foreskin, and underneath. Do your best. Do this every day for a week, see if makes a difference.

If no difference, I was wrong. NO harm done, but you bought a creme which you didn't need. Sorry about that. If it begins to improve then keep using it. Inform your doctor of this.

You can use this in conjunction with steroid cremes, as other have suggested to use.

Don't get a circumcision, cutting off body parts is not the way to correct health issues in the 21st century.

If you can retract your foreskin while in any state, your foreskin is not attached to your glans, and therefore isn't phimosis. Trust your gut.

At this state I'd say it really isn't anything to worry about. You can clean it thoroughly as long as you're not hard. If you're unsatisfied with how it feels, you could gently pull it back as you're erect and over time it'll stretch out to a comfortable circumference.

That doctor is just looking for money, as you yourself have observed.

You might want to contact Dr. Adrienne Carmack. She's a board-certified urologist who from what I've heard has a lot of training in the health and anatomy of the prepuce.

Have you ever been able to retract it erect? Or is this something new?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think there is a difference.

I know of guys who in early adulthood, relate that they could never retract the foreskin, but over time developed the capacity to do so by stretching the opening of foreskin from time to time. However, this stretching must be done with great caution and awareness, because if the foreskin is stenotic and is retracted behind the glans, it can (uncommonly) get "stuck" behind the glans and constrict / cut off blood flow to the glans, resulting in the necrosis / death of tissue -- a condition called paraphimosis.

If that happens, and it can't be pulled back, very important to get to an emergency room or do something about it ASAP before any injury to the glans occurs.

The reason I ask if this is longstanding or something new, is that some people have a foreskin that doesn't retract for whatever reason, from birth, whereas others develop phimosis later on as a complication of an inflammatory process such as balanitis xerotica obliterans / lichen sclerosus et atrophicus.

If your condition is not something you've had your entire life or there is inflammation associated with it, there may be a greater indication for circumcision, as it then may be a condition that could get worse with time.

If your urologist is good, he should be able to tell you what's going on.

At least, that's my two thoughts on it.

Did your urologist indicate you had an inflammatory condition, or something from birth?

Whatever you do, be careful.
