Feminists hate facts, especially historical facts that show life was better under the older "patriarchal" systems. Everyone with an ounce of common sense knows that the family structure of two parents and one head of the household (the man) worked best for raising children. Now shift to today and see the mess single mothers make of their children. This passage is an admittance that feminism is bad for children, thus MUST be destroyed. Feminists don't like criticism and cannot handle people analysing their failures.....

When I was a little kid, my mom would hit us (my brother and I) with a wooden spoon. Then we got bigger and the spoon wasn't enough, so she would beat us with a broom. Then the broom wasn't enough... but the threat of "wait until your father gets home!" was always enough to make us behave.

Your article states that the mother's authority was solely based upon the father's authority. This will obviously ruffle the feathers of the feminists who do not want a woman's authority to ever be reliant upon a man's authority, even when it's based upon historical facts. It's easier for them to try to erase the historical record than admit that a woman ever needed a man for anything.

It’s not at all. Feminists find sexism where it isn’t, don’t find it where it is, and ignore it among each other.

It is wildly misogynistic in two main areas. The first paragraph implies that a woman has no authority over her own children aside from what is passed down by her husband. The second, in the last paragraph, quite bluntly is saying that because women are not acting subordinate to their husbands, their children are poorly behaved. As if men have no responsibility for also teaching their children how to behave.

In general, these passages are not factual accounts, but rather chosen because they strongly present one side of an argument that is easy to ask questions about.

The problem with it is that people believe they are factual.
