My fiance had a relationship with a woman when he was 22 (he is now 45). The lady was having another partner without my fiance knowledge. She gets pregnant and the other man signs the Birth Certificate. So a few years later (in 1996) my fiance gets called to court and verbally confirms the relationship and I guess paternity. No DNA test was made, or blood test. He pays Child Support for 18 years. Is there any way we can request the court to have a DNA test done now? The child is 24 now. And if the test comes back negative, would he get his money back? He lives in PG County MD
