They may pay lip service but they don't support men's rights at all, in reality MensLib is just a contingent of male feminists. These are people who will ( possibly literally ) bootlick female feminists just for attention so they have no problem ignoring genuinely important issues that affect men like family courts, women on male rape and Title IX.

These are all issues MRAs care quite a lot about and MensLib won't even touch them for fear of upsetting their feminist mistresses who will immediately screech about how it's 'anti-women' to talk about such things openly. Of course, they come over here trying to play that card with us frequently, but they get told to fuck off because we're actually men capable of standing up for ourselves and have some self-respect.

Yeah, I really don't like those guys, it's mainly because of how they're very blatantly trying to hijack men's issues in an attempt to make feminism more palatable while at the same time using that very sub to label MRAs and attack men they don't like.

Men's rights looks at the status quo and considers the needs of all parties and advocates for what's best. Reasonably and logically. MRM allows you to challenge ideas with opposing arguments, and think critically. It advocates thinking about what's right, independent of culture. In fact, by thinking about your rights as a man, you are challenging what culture tells you to do!

Herein lies the truth -- most forms of thinking about maleness nowadays have been subverted or subsumed by feminist ideology. These include the ideas that men as rapists, predators, harassers, manipulators, tyrants, abusers, aggressors, violators, and killers. If any group tries to paint men as a whole using any of the above filters or other similar ideas--it's just feminist parroting.

Likewise, any group that engages in "whiteknighting" or placating to any of the above ideas is not Men's Rights. Any group that encourage's a man to become "less male" to conform is not Men's Rights.

What we want is our needs as people recognized as being equal, and we also recognize the needs and choices of others. We know that all parties are responsible for their own actions and the results thereof, and should be held accountable. We want justice in fairness and rationality. This is the core tenant that drives our thinking. We also accept there is nothing wrong with liking things that are more "male" or are different than what women like. We also want to make people aware of what feminism is doing to male identity and how it's harming us as people. Feminism is largely unchallenged and has become a juggernaut of perverse ideology.

From experience things aren't allowed to be talked about openly on r/menslib

/menslib is vastly different in that they insist all bad things happening to men are only caused by other men, the "patriarchy" and neo-nazis. They love to use the term "toxic masculinity" and throw a lot of blame on that, when I think its a sexist term that doesn't need masculinity attached. Since what its defined as isn't limited to the male gender.

Because to them women are still more oppressed than men, and any talk about women oppressing men is silenced. They've deleted my comments before, without even notifying me.
