PSA: Here's an Effective Method I Have for Getting a Feminist to Reconsider Her Views, Based on Female In-Group Bias. Please spread this around.

The idea of using women to appeal to non-MRA women and men seems like a good idea on the surface because of the Women Are Wonderful effect, but I'm always a bit concern about how it will end up in the long-term. I think it will lead to Men's Rights just becoming some kind of Feminism 2.0 that's slightly friendlier to men but where men are still second to women. For the most obvious example, it will mean all of the leaders of Men's Rights, the most recognizable people associated with the movement, will all be female because they will be the only ones who are shared. A man who makes good content will be overlooked in favor of a woman just because he is male. That seems the opposite of the goal of the Men's Rights Movement where men are equal to women. It will just continue to encourage a gynocentric society, where women are preferred over men.

MRAs have to avoid the encouragement of gynocentrism because it is harmful to men. For example, gynocentrism is a major contributor to one of the largest double standards facing men: Male Disposability. Male Disposability is often a root cause behind so many other double standards, such as caring more about FGM over MGM and the wage gap over the life expectancy gap. So MRAs need to avoid from encouraging gynocentrism and, if anything, fight against it if MRAs really want to change any of these double standards.

Also, as an aside, contributing to a gynocentric society is the same problem with using the "Feminism hurts women too" argument. It just tries to tap into gynocentric behaviors, but it won't work. It will most likely just create another double standard because society will fix the harm to women without trying to fix the harm to men. Men will only benefit incidentally from trying to tap into gynocentrism.
