Question about MensLib

MensLib is a feminist subreddit. As the foundational principles of all flavours of feminism (class warfare between men and women with men winning, shorthanded as "Patriarchy") are inherrently anti-male when you examine what needs to be true for it to accurately describe reality, it's not fit for purpopse as a mens' rights subreddit.

Egalitarian values, and mens' rights advocacy in particular, is innately anti-feminist.

They're feminists. It's an anti-male hate movement. Essentially they're cybersquatting on the sub to fool people who might be looking for men's rights stuff.

Discussion at that sub is limited by its pro-feminist position, which cannot be criticised and has led them into big mistakes lately, like the recent AMA. The sub can be a useful resource for some topics and issues affecting men, but cannot give a full picture. The heavy moderation often results in a skewed perspective that, at times, reeks of internalised misandry, but some of the users have surprisingly pro-male views when given the opportunity to speak.

Conversely, discussion at this sub is less limited, but is sometimes hijacked by hobby horses and an obsession with condemning feminism. That is, ironically, its own kind of limitation.

r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates is somewhere in the middle, allowing criticism of feminism but not as frequently bogged down with outrage posts or other low-effort content.

Mens lib is just chalk full of resources to help men with issues they face in society. They barely blame feminism and women for those issues at all.

They waste so much time talking about how to help men They don't bother getting to the important stuff like who to blame and why feminists control the whole world.
