Given that this subreddit's focus is Men's Rights, we all have a shared interest here. I find it odd that there are so many downvotes. I know we are not all men here, and I definitely appreciate a woman's perspective on men's rights. It's an endeavor that we like-minded people should share no matter our genders, because if we petition only for our own rights then we attain less progress in the big picture.

However, I find it hard to believe that most of those that browse this sub in favor of men's rights would downvote so many of our posts and comments. All but the posts linking to articles demonizing men, it seems. Anything showing how men are treated unfairly gets a lot of downvotes. I feel it is in an effort to lessen exposure (even within this sub) and change appearances so it seems we are not organized or maybe simply because it will make posts seem less popular or lacking in support. Less Karma. However you want to look at it. I find this especially unfair because it seems like any male posters are banned from most feministic or women's rights subreddits. I don't think we should do the same, we should welcome women into our subreddit with open arms.

My question is, is there a way to track downvotes so that someone who comes here only to downvote can be banned?? We have no use or need for excessive downvoting, and it goes against the spirit of the sub. We're here mainly to share experiences and for support. I understand not everything that gets posted here is good content or actually a Men's Rights issue and we downvote it ourselves, but still. In the very least, it will make the downvote brigade pick and choose what they downvote or be banned, and that alone can be influential in stopping some oppression here. If successful, we can share that success with women's rights subreddits so they may make use of it as well.

What does everyone think? Is it possible and can we/should we enact it?
