It's not that I'm against it per se, more that I'm against it for children who can't decide for themselves.

Basic bodily autonomy. If some dude gets to 18 and decides he wants it, I wouldn't be against it. But in babies? Absolutely against it.

Female genitals are protected by law. If you do to a girl the equivalent of circumcision, it is labeled "female genital mutilation". The double standard is blatantly obvious and thus this is a Men's Rights issue.

why would you be 'for' performing an unnecessary and potentially harmful surgical procedure on an infant against their will?

Circumcision was nearly non-existant (in the US) prior to 1890 when it was pushed by certain "anti-Masturbation" crusaders (one of whom was John Harvey Kellogg who also created 'corn flakes') as a means to prevent "Masturbation insanity".

Why would removing that particular piece of skin have any impact on the rate of masturbation if that particular piece of skin was not sensitive?

around 100 infants die every year in the US from complications resulting from botched circumcisions; many more suffer life long complications. The few supposed 'health benefits' are not urgent and can easily be delayed until the subject is old enough to make an informed decision on their own. - performing this on a child against their will is unnecessary.

More infants die as a result of circumcision I the US every year than children do from school shootings.

I don't have a problem with adults choosing to do it, so long as they are informed about it. But taking the choice away from kids doesn't sit right with me. Also lots of people do it for religious reasons, which I also don't understand cause like, weren't humans made by God and therefore unnecessary changes are going against God?

Nobody here thinks that those guys have a legitimate grievance although they seem to think they do, and nobody here agrees with their message, although they're frequently here supporting one another.

Its a sad state that they don't get shouted down enough to realize how unwelcome they are. Nobody wants the baggage they bring here. Its frequent bigotry, anti-vaxx quackry, product promotion, and constant sexualization of infants, they make everyone else look bad, and they're too loud for outsiders to realize the rest of us are normal and don't want them around.
