Hi, I'm a male eighth grader. Young, right? Well, I've self-proclaimed myself an MRA for a couple of years now, and I have an interesting story to share that happened today at school.

So, in the hallway between classes, a guy in my grade came up to me asking for a bro-hug. I kindly accepted the offer, and hugged him for about 5 seconds. All of the sudden, I hear two girls (girls who I am usually pissed at all the time) call my name and call me a creep.

Now, I'm terrible at comebacks, so I said a pretty lame one. But the thing that made me pissed is that 1. The guy WANTED the hug, so why do I deserve to be called a creep? 2. NOBODY defended me, instead most laughed at my lame comeback.

Humiliated, I just ran off.

It really sucks, though, because about 2/3 of the girls in my grade of 60 kids are either lesbian or feminists, most that seem to absolutely LOATHE boys and men.

I've been told time and time again to check my privilege, that I don't have any problems because I'm not a girl, that I'm pale and white and don't problems.

I, personally, am sick and tired of it.
