I wanted to cross share the post but I wasn't allowed to but to sum up the story:

A gay guy buys his boyfriend flowers as a tradition. The tradition started because his boyfriend hated flowers because he considered too gay but now it's a tradition that symbolizes the internal homophobia they worked through. They had a get together with friends and he brought flowers for his boyfriend and his straight friend, as a joke, talked about not buying flowers for him. The boyfriend gave him on of the flowers and he took a bow saying "thank you sir"

Side note: I love this about my straight guy friends. They always joke around with me. I started talking to a guy and a few of them joked about being replaced lol and that they thought I was waiting for them lol.

Anyways, a girl in the group said to him that he should have gotten the girls flowers and not just his boyfriend and that his friend got one and he isn't even a girl. He responded and said that if she wants flowers then get a boyfriend to get her flowers. She then called him misogynistic for insinuating that she needs a man to buy her flowers and was upset the rest of the get together.

It was weird because she's trying to hold him accountable as a man for not getting her and the rest of the girls flowers but it's misogynistic to insinuate that she should get a boyfriend or she needs a man to get her flowers since she wants them to be given to her.

Somehow she automatically thinks she should get them because she's a girl and it also showed that she undermines his relationship because he's with a man.

Mind boggles me. Guess as a gay dude myself, I can get accused for misogyny if I don't buy women flowers for just being women.

Edit: Sorry if it's the wrong flair
