The doodle team is always excited to hear ideas from users - they can email [email protected] with ideas for the next Google doodle. The team receives hundreds of requests every day so we unfortunately can't respond to everyone. But rest assured that we're reading them :)

It's worth remembering that for a number of years Google has been petitioned to have a Doodle and they have not done so.

It has been overly hard to gain any support - and the likes of Paul Elam has not been willing to support as he's happier to bitch about the absence than creating an actual result.

Elam is also such a poor quality activist that he fails to grasp how valuable it is to have 12 months of being able to show that Google discriminates .... and build support widely and globally for change. Some people who claim to be activists are actually just enjoying basking in the adulation of others who don't know how to be activist.

There was also Global Support for a Google Doodle which again Elam and AVfM did not want to support as the result would have built an activist base that Elam could not control. It's unfortunate that Elam has ended up as a figurehead in men's Rights activism and the sooner he's toppled the better.

I don't expect there to be a Google Doodle This year as it's too late to build momentum, and also Google are still neck deep in litigation over a meme and don't want to do anything that affects that litigation.

Unless there is a Miracle and a settlement you will be lucky to see any doodle withing 3+ years.

I know - I'm a downer and all that, but also quite pragmatic.

I don't begrudge anybody who wants to give it a shot, but I can understand the cynicism, you're trying to convince a company that fired their employee for even bringing up the point that men and women have biological differences. I doubt they'd even read the emails or they'd screech to the media about how MRAs are trying to hijack women's issues and make it all about them.
