I remember walking back to my apartment in college and I found myself walking behind a woman. I legitimately thought "Oh, I better slow down and distance myself, don't want to rape her."

I was so indoctrinated into the "men are evil" thinking I genuinely thought rape might happen if I somehow found myself closer to a strange woman. Obviously, I'm not a rapist, so in hindsight I didn't have anything to be worried about.

Women walking alone think "What if I get attacked?" whereas men think "what if I get called a rapist?"

Many of those places are run by male feminists, I think they can be even worse than women.

Some men feel hatred for themselves and the unworthiness of women and probably project their skewed view of the world unto others. They actually think if the will be subservient and useful enough, they will become worthy of womens attention.

I feel you. It's depressing to see the blatant hypocrisy and full throated hatred.

But if you take a step back there's also some positive developments. Woke and it's "hate (white cis/het) men" has had it's peek. That doesn't mean it's captial O over, but it is loosing and key investors (namely the democrats) are divesting away from it.

So, don't loos your hope. Don't loose your sanity. Breath deeply, relax your muscles and stay away from those places.

I agree man, the anti male rhetoric across all forms of social media and pop culture nowadays is sickening. And the fact that so many people seem to be okay with it shows how well they have been conditioned by all the anti male propaganda. Just focus on what you can control in your own life and be the most successful masculine man you can be. Treat women well and tell any man haters to get fucked.

You may want to limit how much man hating content you take in on a daily basis.

But one thing I learned is that its is a lot of people being fake mad on the internet. Looking for reasons to be mad at something, so they join the fray. Goofy people online should never make you be scared to be a man. Take pride in yourself bro.

In real life that energy just isn't there with me. Meaning, I don't have any woman trying to shame me for being a man, and seem to appreciate my masculinity. I've had a few women try to pull the "because you're a man" crap, and it quickly gets shut down.

The way I look at a lot of this silliness on the internet is the same way I view children acting like adults. When it comes down to it, the people following this mess are still getting led by their emotions and have become weak willed.

Hold your head high, and don't take in so much of the negative. One thing I did to combat those feelings is that I simply stopped caring. I decided to live my life the way I want, regardless of how some women on the internet feel. I noticed the moment I started doing that, it was like things became easier. Even interactions became easier. Like the lack of caring about what others think seemed to make them want to talk with me more (especially women I would meet).

Basically this will always be a thing, so yo may as well live life on your terms.

There is absolutely no reason to be scared to be a man today - i am a dude myself, just for the record.

Generally speaking, men do have it easier in life. Period. Now, of course there are outliers - many men are suffering deeply be it from mental health issues, addiction or just struggling to make ends meet. That certainly is a reality for many men out there. There are also very privileged and wealthy women out there, who live comfortable lives with many privileges the average man doesnt have. Yes, these variances exist.

But, in todays society, men still face many direct and indirect advantages over women. For example, take a look at the corporate world where women are the ones essentially being punished for having children, as it not only impacts their career trajectories but also their financial security.

Men, who historically speaking have been in power and still do for the most part, have created an environment that penalises women for being independent. That is also a reality.

Working to overcome these inequalities is not an attack on men or manhood, as these male-focused influencers would like you to believe - you have to realise that they are selling a product to make easy money.

So my point is, that if youre a respectful person and even remotely mindful of other people's boundaries, there are absolutely no reasons to be scared to be a man.

For clarification: Of course there are people who demonise all men as a whole, sure. But those are fringe extremist parts of a large group, just like those mens rights extremists who view women as nothing more than objects, also are just a small extremist part (i hope).
