Well feminists in the west, as opposed to say, Africana womanists, want to have the things that they perceive men to have. They've invented this schema and called it "patriarchy" and made it their goal not to destroy it, but to join it and conquer it.

Be (like) one of the guys (experience manly pride)

Mark all spaces as feminine (extinguish manly pride)

Guys like the SRSMen OP believe that becoming how he believes other men see women will make him attractive to the "strong, dominant, forceful" women, the heroines who overcame the great patriarchy.
