To be fair the one person who genders the problem in all of this is Katie O'Donnell. I guess she's a feminist which means you expect her to excuse the violence of one gender to blame the other. The rest of the people in the video show no gender bias and neither does the article itself.

It's childishly naive that these people think people who actually do these things care about what other people think or think it's not actually wrong.

I struggle to imagine another reason their policy prescriptions are centered around it. They seem to really think men and/or society thinks it's okay and that's the only reason it happens.
