It feels like those ppl are trying to apply the same messages they use for fake women empowerment to men... it doesn’t work and it’s cringe, am I the only way that feels this way? They are basically saying it’s ok to not be manly...

idk, even if they tried to encourage men, it is sad that they weren't celebrating masculinity and insteas celebrated men not being masculine, pretty much reinforcing the feminist narrative

I know the meaning is honest, but this is how far it has gotten, that even when trying to support, they are so far out in left field they can't even see the plate.

That’s bullshit. We absolutely have behavioral aspects that are naturally exhibited by men and have been pushed to the extreme. For example, the comment above, “no one will respect you if you don’t act manly.” That’s “toxic”. That kind of thinking is literally poisoning young boys’ minds and creating some serious mental and emotional problems. Kids grow up repressing their true nature in fear of not being “manly” enough. Or, even worse, young gay boys stay closeted their whole lives. We’ve done this to ourselves. We don’t need feminism to identify these issues. They can fuck right off. We are responsible for this, we can see it without them labeling it “toxic masculinity” and calling us out, we can do better, all in our own. I think the “toxic masculinity” label is stupid and sexist, but the principle behind the term isn’t wrong.
