Nothing new. Even if men are more aggressive, which is debatable, women are much more violent. If two women slap each other it's unlikely they ever injury each other too much, if a woman hits a man it's unlikely for the man to retaliate, social stigma and instinct push to not to do it. The average man should be able to knockout the average women with a single punch. if a man hits another man , one or both are going to end pretty hurt or even injured, with death being a big possibility.

It's not surprising; most guys are raised to believe the "never hit a woman!" bullshit, whereas many gals are raised to think it's funny to hit guys as retaliation for basically nothing
