If you think rationally about what the outcome of a divorce should be in an equal society, it makes absolutely no sense that men should have to pay child support. That entitlement comes from the notion that men are the "bread winners". Well, the women have fought for their equal salaries, and deserve them, but if we're not the primary money makers anymore then that entitlement no longer applies. If a woman leaves because she's unhappy in a relationship, that's her choice. She took marriage vows that indicated she knew what she was getting into, and if she is an equal and no longer wants to be with a man then she can work to support her children. Also the man has just as much of a right to be involved in his kids lives. "Visitation" is bullshit.

Crux of my thinking: If she's not happy with her man and wants out / to be with others, then she loses the benefits of being with that man. In my opinion, these laws are the equivalent of the courts enforcing that a woman stay committed to a man when he cheats on her. She can't leave and he can fuck other women. It simply isn't fair.
