The audacity of using the features of a particular social media site in a way this random person doesn't approve of. It must be teh menz fault!

Ffs. This is like people complaining about people on Tumblr using the tags for commentary, or people on reddit using the downvote as a dislike/disagree button (and then blaming it on men, of course). It doesn't matter if that's not the "intention", it's a ubiquitous use of the feature and it's really quite absurd to act like this is some egregious abuse of the site.
