Toxic masculinity was initially a mens issue since the 80s. It basically meant an unrealistic social standards that men would have to go through. Like being strong, feeding the entire family, protecting women at all costs, not being able to cry etc. It actually was beneficial for women, rather than hurtful.

But radical feminists have stolen the idea and made it into womens issue. They argued, that toxic masculinity causes aggression, and due to toxic masculinity men would r*pe, kiII or just basically hurt women, many of them even argued that its causes r*cism and other stuff. Obviously society didn't encourage men to do any of this, actually it was more discouraged than anything. Nothing new, feminist love making others issues about themselves, but they made people strive from the actual issues described as toxic masculinity, and focus on the ones who don't help men at all.

I wish more mra's would be aware that toxic masculinity is our issue, but i understand why many of them think its bullshit
