Or maybe men have been encouraged since childhood to hide their emotions and just get over whatever is bothering them so they don't outwardly show any obvious signs of emotional trauma because as a whole society doesn't really care all that much about the problems boys and men face on a daily basis. However they are very very interested in blaming them for all the problems that girls and women face. Interesting that.

This is such blatant bullshit. I know this is a lie from direct experience.

I was sexually abused as a child, and through too much eager meditation 5 years ago from present, I accidentally reawoke repressed memories of the trauma, and it royally fucked me up for almost 3 years. I was crushingly depressed for that period, and was just... numb.

I've since recovered somewhat, but no doubt there are still effects from it I'm not fully aware of.

I wish I could disagree but going on many of the legal defi itions, they're actually right! What this should do is highlight the need to redefine in order to protect our boys to the same standard as our girls...... Instead it just highlights that our society is only interested in the protection of female children.
