That's okay. To be good at something first you have to be bad at it.

I've come to the realisation that you have to go through this kind of thing to get smarter, refine what your arguments, and understand other people's positions better. If you want to know your ideas are right, you have to test them against other ideas.

Unfortunately, the process of getting better is hard but you have gone through the first step. Don't throw away this experience as a failure, learn from it. Maybe you will have to change your view on some things, maybe you are right about some things but need to get them clearer in your head so you can explain them better.

You did a good thing. Keep doing good things.

It seems to me that men's rights issues are a special type of argument. You don't actually have to win anything; just pointing out a few instances of discrimination against men, disposability etc. and people will notice them when they see them. After a while, they will notice these things everywhere. And then boom! They get the whole thing.

Don't sweat it, really. The fact that you had the guts to present a very unpopular topic is a testament to the strength of your character, beliefs and sheer will.

As another commenter posted, messing up presentations/projects is a part of learning and human development. Don't get down, rather, use this as a learning experience for future work.

Look. Anyone can go in front of a class, present the patriarchy's oppression via the wage gap, and get a loud round of applause. You are treading in waters that have been tainted by several generations of misinformation and the general demonization of men.

Persistence is one of the few tools men and women have in exposing the downright lies perpetuated by feminism. The truth hurts those that have benefitted from feminism. In the end, the truth shall make us ALL free...

It's not if you win or lose, but that you learned the WHY of it. WHY did you think/ feel you lost.

Use it like a learning tool. What did you do right? What did you do wrong? Where could you have done things better? These are valuable skills that will help you in real life later on.

Aside from that, you only really lose if you say nothing.

the exact same thing happened when I tried to tackle a controversial subject in a public speaking class, it's tough to go up against a combative audience

remember, even presidential candidates make sure to pad the crowd with supporters :)

The first time you do this sort of thing is the most difficult. Use it as a learning experience to improve your skills. You've taken the hardest first step...kinda like jumping into cold water, the next time it doesn't feel nearly so bad, it's actually refreshing.

Don't feel sad, buddy. Have you realized you had the guts to make a presentation? How does it feel to be an activist (in this case a Men's Rights Activist) from now on?

That's what western world needs right now! It needs people ready to put into words what MSM don't want to show. (i.e. discrimmination against men)

For each person like you appears, faith in humanity keep being alive.
