What do you think causes differences between men and women in the way they behave, biology or society?

Society builds on top of biology.

We observe gender differences in monkeys and infants who can't have been socialised, so those differences must be biological. Also IIRC the level of fetus's testosterone can be used to predict behaviour as well.

However, one of our strengths as a species is adaption, so society does play a roll. As society becomes more free and more safe, biology becomes a bigger proportion of the differences. In a society where everyone has to do whatever they can to survive, society plays a large role.

Biology is a huge and the primary part however environment does still play a significant role.

Both. Some differences are 100% genetics (genital arrangements) and others are 100% societal (hair styles). Many differences are going to be combinations of both, where bio and societal differences build on each other and create an even more apparent difference (job choices).

I think it's mostly biology, after all society is also shaped by our evolutionary past, so that's two hits on one side of the argument.
