Throughout history, people have justified some people be discriminated against. With enough propaganda, it’s even possible to get people to believe they deserve to be discriminated against.

Of course, many “simps” are simply being white knights in an attempt to come across as knightly without actually doing anything knightly. Most people see through this.

It's cultural.

In other cultures, women will defend their own oppression, and when you try to tell them that life is different elsewhere, they get very nasty.

The women I'm talking about, they then recieve appreciation (and lack of punishment) from their family and other bigoted people in their society.

What do these men get in reward? Looking like they have a nice character for the women? Why do they do it?

I don't get it either. I'm realizing most humans don't believe in equality. If they aren't simping for women they are simping for celebrities, athletes, the government or all of them. I used to chalk it up to people just having a few inconsistencies and not being perfect, but it's not really that, people actively want to simp out for people because they think those people are better people that deserve a double standard that gives them preferential treatment.
