Just to be clear, I think it's really unfortunate that this double standard exists, and I completely empathize with both men and women's feelings on it. But I think women who write it off as "an unfair double standard with no basis in reality" are absolutely not seeing anything from mens perspective.

This is the reason that men chase bodies. There are literally ONLY upsides as long as you don't get anyone pregnant or catch STDs. This is the "Stud side". I'm not going to touch on the "slut" side of the conversation here, I just want women to understand that men who are able to sleep with lots of women will ALWAYS be perceived as more valuable by both genders, and will also be more confident and competent sexually as a result.

" Mid 30s here. Also not American. I actually prefer experienced partners. That said a guy who has a bunch of eager returning FWBs is more likely to be respectful and skilled than someone who can get girls into bed but doesn’t get callbacks.

Many men who (involuntarily) lack experience at my age tend to be extremely bitter, insecure and pornsick with unrealistic expectations and performance issues. Somehow I haven’t had this issue with women who are new to sleeping with women."

"The inexperienced/virgin men I dated were unhealthily obsessed with my body count and past experiences. They were so entitled, demanded that I help them make up for lost time and behaved abusively because I was a “slut”.

The experienced men (and almost all the women) were just happy I knew what I liked."
