Well, I'd just get hookers and spend money on myself. Anyways that wasn't the question. It was rather how do i suppress the urges and needs at the moment?

Assume there are 100 girls in our university. Me keeping my standards only till 20th percentile. That means, I'm okay with going out with 80 girls. Out of which 40 are already dating or not at all interested in dating. Out of the remaining 40, 20 are just too good for me who would never want someone like me. From the remaining 20 whom I thought are at my league, I tried finding common interests and tried talking to 10 but they weren't interested, gave dry responses, stone walling etc. The remaining 10, out of which 5 talked well with me but they see me only as someone who helps them with their homework and they never agreed to go out on date. The rest 5 are good friends of mine out of which I got rejected by one and things went awkward later. As time passed, I used to have crush on them but not anymore, I don't complain being friendzoned as I'd be happy to date them but don't wanna make things awkward by getting rejected again. Better to be friends. Conclusion here is: If you're an average guy, you gotta struggle more than average girls, as even these average girls are getting enough compliments, attention and validation to keep them content. I'm getting neither. (After reading this, it might feel like I'm that depressed irl, but I'm not. My friends think I'm a happy and cheerful guy, they don't even know what's going on with me mentally)

Agreed, and thanks. I don't get the "reflexively inoffensive and safe". What does it mean?
