honor is a martial virtue forged between men in war and cooperative hunting. there is literally no reason for women to have evolved it psychologically. if anything, lack of honor was more likely to ensure a woman and her offsprings survival (riding off with the enemy rather than staying and dying)

Men didn't and don't uniformly do the hunting and gathering, and there's far greater reason to develop consistent and healthy social bonds if an organism is going to be totally incapacitated by late-stage pregnancy and rely heavily on other group members for survival if/when division of labor has the male partner accumulating resources.

Your anecdotal observations don't have a grand evolutionary cause. I don't have to imagine a man acting 'like that' - some men are petty assholes, and some women are petty assholes, and it sounds like you were lucky to get out of the bridal party of one of those. Flaky men flake, flaky women flake.

Good social relationships and the capacity to maintain them is an advantage to everyone, of every gender. It helps to find and keep the interest of a mate, it increases odds of survival in a crisis, it increases longevity. There is no evolutionary reason to favor 'cattiness' in women and not in men. There are, however, sociocultural motivations for separating women and pitting them at odds with each other - just as there are reasons to encourage men towards unhealthy behavior. People who are alienated and disillusioned are vulnerable.

Rather than trying to extrapolate your observations back to evbio, which is a losing proposition if you're not particularly good at evbio, consider who profits from the dysfunctional behaviors you are observing. It is seldom the women (or the men).

Your argument doesn't make sense and is only backed up by personal experiences. It seems like you started with the conclusion. Even the simplified version of evolution could be interpreted in multiple ways. You could have easily gone in the other direction by saying since women raised children and maintained the home base they needed to have tight bonds.

I think you need to get better friends. Mine are goddesses walking the earth and I feel blessed to be included in their social circle. We all do have a tendency to show up late to stuff or occasionally flake, particularly those of us with small children. I consider it more a case of conflicting priorities rather than a lack of honor and integrity.

As far as the wedding, no offense OP, but I have to wonder what you're leaving out. Insane bridezillas exist, but I've never stumbled across one IRL. Hell, my sister (who is overweight to begin with) was about 9 million months pregnant with my parents' first grandchild, and it didn't occur to me to exclude her

Women, due to generally being smaller and physically weaker, subconsciously perceive themselves to be in a perpetual position of weakness in social interactions, especially in large groups or when dealing with men.

This victim mentality helps them rationalize spiteful or dishonest behaviour. You can see this on female-dominated subs; 2XC or /r/relationships regularly forgive women for abhorrent behaviour or physical violence because the OP will weave a complex tale about how they were put in a difficult position, implying that being a shitty person was okay.

Men learn from a young age, either in their first job or in school, that they aren't going to get much sympathy if caught lying, stealing, or otherwise misbehaving, and that the rules come down on them a lot harder, such as how men typically get more prison time for equal crimes, so they learn to moderate their own behaviour. There is also a mutual, unspoken understanding between most grown men (although there are some men who don't abide by the bro-code), that honesty, integrity and loyalty are expected in certain situations. Business situations tend to be a good example of this etiquette.

This even extends to non-professional situations too. Maybe four times in my adult life, I've seen grown, sober men have a fist fight with plenty of witnesses present; twice, no one said shit. There was a mutual understanding amongst all men watching or fighting that the fight was fair and it would settle their differences. Once, it was seen by others and broken up, which is fine and for the better. The last time, someone called the cops (it was one of only two women present lol). Just an example of how men can settle their differences, however crudely, without having to appeal to a higher authority (which women always do).

There are things women do that it would never even occur to a man to do. Being a man we still have remnants of chivalry. Women simply do not have the same ingrained ideals, from when we grow up watching cartoons, movies reading books, we are taught, protect women, sacrifice, be selfless, keep your word, e.t.c

Women simply do not have that and aren't socialised for that. I won't just say it's biological.

Women do things it would never occur to a man to do. I mean things like a guy I knew was with a really hot german girl on a night out, she gave him her number. The next day she had regrets and instead of just saying "Ah, I think I was drunk it was nice to meet you" despite them having a great night out when she picked up the phone she suddenly pretended she couldn't understand him on the phone rather than just be honest. As in she literally pretended they didn't speak a common language anymore. It would just never occur to a guy to find it necessary to do that.

Things like girls I know being bullied by the hot rich kids and taking it and towel fetching for them but ripping the shit out of the lonely incel nice kid just because the smell of weakness in a man is disgusting to them but they love it when "Brad the chad shows his sensitive side".

Things like a friend of mine meeting a friend that's a girl trying to be kind to her and at one point he said "I hope I'm not talking to you too much or being a bit much" and she tells him "no no don't be ridiculous, I don't feel that at all" and guess what, literally that night when he didn't go to the bar with the group she bitched to them how "annoying he is and how he talks too much to her sending her too many messages"

We are told so much about "toxic masuclinity" in a time when men really need to make sense of their masculinity in a sense of becoming empowered, not becoming WOW playing 30 year old manchilds addicted to porn. But what of "toxic femininity".

So much I see that women just don't have a lot of the values that are ingrained into men, it makes me weary and careful but I don't tell women how to be women.

Women just don't have that ingrained sense most men have that at least make them hesitate where they think "ah, that would be a bitch made thing to do". We value talking "man to man" and being open and what you mean being what you mean. I'm just amazed by how fake women are at times and how exhausting it must be. People always bad mouth women that say "I only like male friends" and put the blame on them but I think some of them probably jsut see how common such dishonourable actions, snaking, flaking and nastiness is and decide they can't take it anymore.

I learned just never put anything past a woman you don't know as there are so many that are beyond the opposite of the male value system, users, gold diggers. Literally women that treat you like shit and then when they realise you have success they add you on fb, message you and pretend "heyyy, so good to talk to youuu" as if they never shat on you and then gaslight you if you stand for yourself "whatt? No I never had a problem with you (ignoring you, making comments to your group criticising you) I like totally always loved [insert empty compliment she thinks she knows about you]/

Women are amazing but you must be weary of how they suck otherwise it will bite you in the ass and really make them intolerable. There are honourable ones but I always find they are taken or off the grid and hard to find. Women with honourable natures are not venerated by society, they are seen as lesbians or weirdos e.t.c Oddly because of the value men place on attraction, we will rank hot vain women before truly unfalteringly honourable women and women themselves don't value these traits in women so nobody promotes it in the end..

I've noticed these things too and generally stay away from groups of women. It doesn't get by me that every job a woman does a man could usually do better. The only thing a woman can do that a man can't is have children. Feminism has destroyed the pride in motherhood women should have and destroyed the family. I don't think ALL women have less honor and integrity. I think too many do though.
