Male circumcision is still legal.

Yeah, encouraged, supported, pushed and protected by a certain collective which you can't even tangentially criticize or the magical word come up.

The benefits of circumcision are questionable at best. Health? Hygiene? There's no epidemic of dirty and sick dicks in Europe. Circumcision will never be made illegal in USA. Not in this timeline.

1) Men's Rights Activists

The only actual movement here, shunned by the media and by feminists which is an older and bigger movement. MRA cannot work simply because men have an outgroup bias in favour of women.

People are still out there trying to make the world a better place for both men and women before thinking of individual genders. The thing is, we do not need a movement to protect our gender, we do need a movement to stop feminism from implementing their apeshit theories to our societies, and that is likely not possible because of how the average human think.

4) Men's Lib

That's feminism.

1) All those loosely affiliated groups are very different in their purpose. While they all share much of the same worldview, the response for how to deal with that is different. Out of all of them I think only the MRA somewhat tries to fo anything involving real change. MGTOW, TRP, Mens Lib are more personal groups for individuals to reflect and change. Masculinism is just satire, I wouldn't bother including it with the rest. Egalitarianism is the equivalent of all lives matter, for people who want to adopt a progressive label while doing nothing. It's also important to note that most of the groups hate each other. There is overlap, but all of them view the rest as idiots.

Fully agreed. The need to have some sort of "enemy" has them looking in the wrong direction. Feminism may not be there to help men, but it's not the real cause of mens issues. The same power structures that feminism is fighting are the same that men should be; namely racism, classism, homophobia, religious fundamentalism, sexism, etc.

3) The other issue is that men as a class already hold the major power bases of society (economic, political, and religious), so the tools to fix mens problems are already in mens hands. The solution for a lot of the ills is not protests, but introspection and self actualization. I personally think MGTOW had the most potential, but then squandered it with constant botching about feminism and needless sexism. Mens lib also comes close, but it functions more as group therapy support as opposed to an actual movement.
