I was thinking about this, and honestly I think only 2 things need to be changed about divorce law to make marriage an equal proposal for men and women.

1.) The partner who leaves gets nothing in the divorce

2.) Change 1 shall not apply if the reason for leaving is due to the other party getting obese or letting themselves go.

This addresses men's main 2 fears of marriage. That one, they will be divorced and have their stuff taken, and two that their wife will use the marriage as an excuse to get fat since she thinks that she doesn't have to look good for her husband anymore.

With respect to child support obviously that would still need to be changed, but changing divorce law first would be a great start.
