You said that TGP died of coronavirus but I think what you actually mean is that he died of the novel coronavirus, or COVID-19. Coronavirus is actually a broad term for a large family of viruses that are common in people and many different species of animals, including camels, cattle, cats, and bats. When you say he died of coronavirus, that could mean he died of COVID-19 or any other variation of coronavirus including the common cold. It's important to be specific so that people know that you mean TGP died of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and not some other virus in the large coronavirus family.

You may be thinking to yourself, "Yes, that's true, but obviously given the context of the last few months, people will know what I mean by 'coronavirus," and you would be right.
