I think that with the development of medicine, science and the dawn of transhumanism, the sexual dimorphism in our species is becoming rapidly outdated. Worthless at best, socially toxic at worst, it serves no further purpose. With the existence of birth control, artificial insemination and eugenics already at hand, there is no longer a need for a behavioral screening of mates for sex or relationships. With industrialization and modernity, there is no more requirement for gender roles ( As the feminists say, but fail to see they will always exist by instinct, and even them by their own instincts are actually only solidifying the male gender role ). Homosexual couples can also do the same things heterosexual couples do.

I would like to propose an hypothetical futuristic idea, of what should happen once the last barrier to shedding the excess burden of evolutionary sex differences from ourselves is breached, and it is possible to tamper with the neurological and hormonal growth of an embryo or a fetus and through some measures, DNA manipulation, late chemical adjustment, I really have no idea how it might be done, separate the development of the brain from the rest of the anatomical body. Or in other words normative physiological females but with a male brain structure and estrogen flow that is blocked "at the neck" so to speak. Or vice versa, a male body with a female brain. But the trickiest part of all, still finding a way to make them attracted to the opposite physiology. So a bit like transgender women attracted to men, or transmen attracted to women, only biological instead of cosmetic. ( Although hormonal therapy can be done already, and changes behavior to a degree, but not brain structure entirely and of course true anatomy and so on ). This might seem like a distant pipedream, but with the natural occurrence of gender dysphoria, our ability to change hormonal balance and genetic engineering already practical, it might be a real possibility faster than it sounds.

If we ignore the ethical controversy about what it takes to get there, is a uni-gendered society something to strive for? If it was implemented, would the newborns created by it live in more harmony or happiness, at least as far as gender relations go? For the record a uni-gendered but anatomically diverse society will be either male body+male brain/female body+"gay male" ( Attracted to the male body) brain or female body+female brain/ male body+ "lesbian female" ( attracted to the female body ) brain. I suppose if you have artificial wombs you don't even need anatomical variety, or you could even induce asexuality or pansexuality while keeping the other cognitive and psychological qualities of your chosen uni-gender intact, but this is too much of a clusterfuck so I won't veer off there. Going by the initial module, I think many of the misunderstanding, mind games, competitions and dissatisfaction, and indeed much of what people discuss in this sub, in relationships and sex, could be resolved. Much more than that though, all of the gender inequalities or behaviors in every social lens that either manospherians or feminists especially dislike, would vanish. If "doing away" with the gender roles and gender dynamics they erroneously believe to be social constructs is their goal, they should support that. What they will never achieve with the voodoo chanting of socialization in a million years, can be done with the tube and the syringe overnight.

Whatever your answer, what do you imagine a society consisting only of "male brains" or only "female brains" will look like, in terms of SMP, social behavior, culture, advancement, etc...? I'll be brief and only muse about the SMP here, I think there will actually be stagnant sexual and romantic activity in a "female brain only" society if current indicators are anything to go by. Women don't initiate or pursue much, and I don't think they'll get any tingles from a feminine personality in a male body. A society with half male brains in male bodies and half male brains in female bodies....that could certainly be fun. I imagine massive "everybody's welcome" orgies all day long instead of empty r4r male profiles and flooded female profiles by thirsty dudes, most of whom will be ignored. Also being lecherously asked to show your cock or something periodically and mutually aggressive pursuits of relationship. Or often dating someone with the personality akin to a Butch Lesbian, but potentially pretty. Of course, some men are pretty beta, so it can also be "The adoring puppy". What do you think?
