After the Will Smith Chris Rock incident, there was a sudden influx of women coming out with their story with alopecia and how it affects them. The moral being that it's wrong to make fun of people's alopecia.

But before this, there was no shortage of bald jokes when it came to men lol. Same case with fat jokes too. People used to make fat jokes at men all the time until body positivity became a thing.

This just shows that something only becomes a social issue when it affects women. If it doesn't affect women, it's apparently not an issue.
