i think the shorter timeframe was nice... it makes purge week seem too drawn out. i think shortening the time frame also made people work a little harder on their posts. there were a few people who just took the chance to take things out on people they didn't like, but for the most part, things stayed civil/good discussions were had.

It needs to be at least 48 hours, maybe 72. Maybe once a month (e.g. ~7-10% of the time).

It's enough for people to figure out that it's on, yet not enough for the incels and other edgelords who aren't regulars to show up and trash the place any further than it's already trashed.

I'm disappointed how uncreative the haters who try to insult me are. It's always with the "you're a druggie lol" like no shit Sherlock, I have "benzo" in my name, do you have better? I literally asked multiple people "is that the best you can do?" Turns out yes, yes it was. Sad!

Aside from that though the purges are always fun. I love seeing /u/Atlas_B_Shruggin unleash herself.
