They are awful. They are responsible for the massive growth of debt and financialization trends in most Western nations and are overburdening pensions and welfare programs. Boomers need younger people to support this scheme but their political legacy is a proliferation of new rules and laws requiring workers to have special licenses, degrees or certifications in every possible field and generally degrading the labor market. They expanded corporate bureaucracies and ushered in an age of regulatory capture and NIMBYism ordinances and policies were enacted to protect their primary investments: ugly mcmansions. Now we have massive national debts in most developed nations and many are heading towards negative interests rates. Pillow them.

They're okay. I'm a millennial. I take no real issue with boomers, except that they shit on millennials too much and they are can make pretty unreasonable and dramatic customers. I think maybe abusing customer service representatives must have been cool back in the 60s or something. When I worked retail, the majority of my asshole customers were boomers. Just crazy shit-like thinking they have the right to return a toilet seat covered in piss, or wanting to return a door that has been installed in their home from 20 years that they admit that didn't buy at Home Depot, but "You have enough money. I'm a good customer. Just refund me for it. It doesn't matter where I bought it" :/

But other than making terrible customers, I think they're probably fine most of the time.

Some of them have great qualities and high achieving. But that said they can be so self involved they make you feel like you don’t exist and think they are the only actual humans in the room and you’re just an accessory. But I know some messed up people so it might be that.
