It is scientifically possible for men to breastfeed if their prolactin and estrogen levels are high enough and a few years ago I read a news that two women created a kit with hormones that could allow a father to breastfeed his babies freeing up the mother to do other things ( or single fathers could use it). But the father could grow manboobs as a side effect.

Most men have naturally low levels of prolactin and estrogen. I read that non pregnant women produce more prolactin than a man of the same age.

But if most fathers in real life breastfed their children would father and child relationship and bound be stronger and would men less likely to abandon and neglect their children? Would men even have higher chances of getting full custody? Would fathers be considered as important as the mothers?

This thread seems somewhat funny and bizarre but it is an interesting issue.
