The point of my post, is quite obviously in reply to the comment about it being two black people being posted on WhitePeopleTwitter. I simply included it, because as I was copying and pasting links of non-white people being posted, I found it in “hot” and posted in the last 24 hours.
Now, out of the 7 links I posted, all of them but 1 is a leftist agenda post, as I’m sure you noticed since you specifically decided to single this one post out.

From what I gather, this lady is sitting on a plane and next to her happens to be a black man. His phone rang, and she looked at who was calling, the contact calling him was nicknamed "Baby Doll". So, in her mind, that must be his girlfriend/wife, whatever, and it may very well be. She then proceeds to make up a scenario in her mind where she expects him to talk to her and flirt with her and say that he's single, so she can call him out on the phone call he received from "Baby Doll".

Vernacular can also mean something... not quite primitive, but something unrefined by higher studies. Like vernacular architecture (something I love)! Vernacular architecture is architecture as built in a native environment before you really had architects. It's what you get when people are just trying to make it all work, especially before electricity.
Wattle and daub houses (or woven reeds/branches coveted in mud) are an example, but you'll see it in other places. Homes in Ireland have very thick walls because of the humidity.
In the Persian empire, homes in parts of the modern-day Middle East were designed to resist the heat. People would switch which side of the home they put their beds. One side of the interior courtyard got more sun, so they would sleep on that side of the house in the winter (warmer from the sun). They would sleep in the shaded part of the house in the summer.
Vernacular is what you get when things naturally develop in response to their environment.

It's not inherently offensive, it's just seen as iffy for the same reason that "black" isn't always the preferred nomenclature. People of Color, or in the UK we use "BAME" to try and include everyone.
But since I'm from the UK, you'd be hard pressed to find a black person here who would be offended by being called black.
Ebonics as a term was coined by the same people who speak in it. I'm not really sure if you can say it's offensive.

Yeah I'll stick to Webster's dictionary, as those are commonly used and are recognized words, they're not stationary with set words adding new words in our vernacular yearly, example- ain't, I was always told it was not a word but it was so widely used it was accepted into Webster's dictionary as conjunction of am not, I'd say it's more so the length of the use of a word/s over a certain period before it becomes anything other than slang, which I'd consider that the middle English as only a certain age understands while older generations have no idea what you mean.
