The titles don't say anything other than the people who are in power were inadequate in leadership on this one issue. Do you know that someone else would have been better suited for the position and capable of being in that position in the first place? You don't, so it doesn't disprove it as a meritocracy.

I think what he is trying to say is that Feminism (in the first title) is a characteristic, not merit.
U.S. was the first country in North America to form a CV-19 taskforce back in January, and started banning flights from affected areas as of February. At least, the U.S. president did. This did not happen in Canada for months. You can say there been no leadership in Canada on this, but you can't rightfully say that about the U.S.
Let's not forget that the previous U.S. leadership is the one responsible for the earlier than ever predicted rollout of vaccines by cutting red tapes and getting Pfizer through the finish line in record time. Try find any previous historical example of such a rollout.

No lie, one of the guys I respected the most at my job was a dude I couldn’t stand. We even got into two separate fist fights and would openly display our disdain for one another but I had to respect the fact that he would speak his mind and always tell me the truth. There is more to controling a situation like this than just closing everything and telling people to deal with it, look at Netherlands where that attitude has lead to the people literally fighting back. If the measures taken are received as too far reaching by the public it will do far more harm in the long run. Additionally the government and the people have stated on multiple occasions that they prefer the response to be on local level.

I have a career, I'm a developer team leader and guess what? I got promoted cuz I worked hard. That feels by far better. How do these women look at the mirror? What about self respect?.. You don't blame bad corona situations in other countries on their leadership being men. New zealand has had great succes in battling corona and they have a female PM, and Taiwan has a female president as well.

I live in Finland and can say this. They were DEFINITELY chosen because of their gender. They are young women with almost no experience in politics (take for example the massive amount of assistants our PM has, it's ridiculous). At first all medias just praised us for the feminism. Now they've been proven incapable of doing there job, one of them even had to resign due to using too much money on training, wasn't authorized. Yes, this situation isn't because of gender, it's because the gender was forced to the lead. These women just happen to be inexperienced.

Name me a country that's not hampered in their fight against corona by a lack of leadership.
According to this [1] 1 in 84 people in Finland have been infected with Covid-19. There are 107 countries/territories with lower rates of infection per capita than Finland, out of a possible 219 countries/territories. Not bad, particularly when several of these countries that did better are publicly in denial and are likely underreporting.
However, particular standout nations that probably aren't lying about the numbers are South Korea, Vietnam, Japan and Taiwan which all have had world-leading contact tracing and isolation enforcement programs [2]. Also noteworthy is Thailand which despite not taking any action early on, quickly acted to stop the spread and protect people once Covid-19 arrived in that country and as a result has to this day had very few cases per capita [3]. Also noteworthy is Rwanda which responded quickly and has done exceptionally well at keeping infection rates low [4].
Even within Europe, countries like Germany had an excellent early response and had the lowest coronavirus mortality per capita of all European nations [5] (unfortunately in more recent times this is no longer the case sadly).
All of the countries mentioned above have reported total cases per capita far below that of Finland. I would attribute this to strong leadership rather than any other cause such as geography or population density or luck.

AIUI, since 9/11 the USN has been running wartime shifts at sea, instead of peacetime shifts. That's not really sustainable, which is why you only do it when you absolutely have to - such as during a war. You're expecting a high attrition rate, and you're ramping up production and training to backfill. The whole thing takes an immense toll, which you'd expect from a war. During peacetime, it still takes a huge toll on the sailors, but they're not being backed up by the rest of the wartime apparatus. They're just out there, grinding away for no good reason, until shit starts to fall apart.
At the same time that this happened, funding was being cut across the board due to the drawdown of the Cold War. So sailors are working unsustainably hard, but new repairs and maintenance are starting to slip. So is training. Standards often slip during peacetime anyway.
So two decades of this, it's not at all surprising that the USN is starting to show a lot of cracks.
Add to that an officer corps that's getting more "diversity hires" onto ships, and it's a recipe for disaster. But it was probably going to be a disaster anyway.

That's because feminism is the main object in the way of most men's rights. MRA's recognize that. Feminists blame everything on men while men are trying to stay on topic and fix injustices against men. That's really hard to do when an entire movement is constantly blaming men and putting the movement on the defensive.
