I don’t understand. I feel like no-one aspires to be an only fans content creator, but sometimes life leaves you with very few choices, one of which includes doing an only fans. If you are like me, in that you have been privileged with higher education and you are a relatively unattractive man, this is probably not immediately relatable or even an option, but I’m sure it’s a reality for some.

I am also sure that lots of horny dudes see that she does only fans and send her super forward messages which probably could be demeaning and feel as though she has been reduced to this job that she might not even want to do.

To me, it seems like a reasonable request to be engaged like a human and not a sex object, at least initially. There is a lot of evidence of the dwindling middle class and growing unavailability of affordable education but the fact is that it used to be easier to just get by without being a high achieving individual. It wasn't long ago that women weren't expected to do much other than housework and child rearing and now it's near impossible to achieve a middle class life without two incomes to support the cost. It's a lot harder for anyone to support themselves alone. I'm a laborer because I struggle with succeeding in higher education, because it's the easiest thing I can do. I trade what my body is capable of for money. Society doesn't show much value for those who choose an easy path and often looks down on those people as "less than" someone who could turn out a degree.

She isn't wrong in asking to be treated like a person outside her role as a sex worker. The problem stems from the stigma and history behind the concept of prostitution, selling sex, in anyway. She is forced to tie her physical, intimate identity to her work. She has to advertise and market herself. If she does this through social media then her identity on social media is that she's a sex worker. If I had a business phone number for grass cutting it would pretty unreasonable for me to get mad that people aren't calling it to chat rather than get their grass cut. In my life, at the end of my work day I take my uniform off and I'm no longer identified as someone who does my job. When my job becomes literally what I am it's not easy to take that off at the end of the day.

Pornography and other sexual work has always had problems with objectification of the professional women that succeed in the field. This woman is seeing the current reality of the platform she's chosen to employ herself with and is now struggling to seperate her life from her job.

i would never have worked a dead end service job for more than the time it would take me to learn a new trade or skill. there are literally hundreds of jobs you can get certified for that are in high demand and pay well that take less than a year to get started in.

So you made me thing for a second and I realized I dont actually know what a slut is by definition. It says "a woman who has many casual sexual partners". In this particular case we haven't looked at her onlyfans account so there may be no proof of any sexual partners. Would they be professional sexual partners instead of casual sexual partners if the appear on onlyfans and both get a cut of the money tho? Not sure about that one. The missing link you’re looking for is sugar dating. However there is a problem with the onlyfans adjusted trajectory we’re on that worries me.

This oppressive belief that only 20% of men can get sexual relationships traditionally is becoming too normalized. In a world where prostitution/sugar dating is fully ubiquitous, absent anything else like biological drive to pair bond or being raised in a traditional household, an ordinary woman’s incentive could very well be to abandon traditional dating and demand the extra resources and stability. I don’t think anyone expected so many “ordinary” girls to jump on onlyfans. I think we could see a similarly surprising jump to paid dating/hookups such that they are the dominant form of sexual relationship.

It’s a race to see if we as a society become more tolerant of prostitution/sugar dating/nontraditional relationships before we become more empowering to ordinary men in the dating pool. And that is the order I think we’ll arrive in.
