I'm not sure if I should copy my post from RPW here- I wrote most of it while I was awake in the middle of the night/early morning and I kind of rambled. If anyone is interested in the details you can read here: https://www.reddit.com/r/RedPillWomen/comments/7h39m5/trying_to_cope_with_cheating_thoughts_or_advice/

Recently, I found out my husband cheated throughout the first year of our relationship. I'm trying to find healthy ways to cope and work through my feelings but that's proving to be easier said than done.

I'm just really sad and lonely right now. I think this is made worse by the fact that my cousin/best friend died last year and I don't have anyone to talk to about really personal issues anymore. It's hard because I'm pregnant with my first baby and we always imagined we'd be experiencing this together but I'm here alone. I've experienced a lot of anxiety surrounding pregnancy and I believe her death has contributed to it. Now this with my husband; if she were alive I know I could trust her and talk to her about it. This is the first time in my life I've felt completely overwhelmed by sadness. I don't know what to do.

My husband is a good man. He's a strong and capable leader. Thanks to him I've become a better person than I ever thought I would be. I am forever grateful for him and his leadership. I love and respect him more than anyone. He's never let me down prior to this and I'm sure that's why it hurts so much. I feel like my world was destroyed the moment I read that email and saw the pictures. My heart dropped and I've felt this heavy sensation in my chest since. I want it to go away so bad. I've tried ignoring it. I thought I could distract myself and ended up crying as I scrubbed the kitchen floor this morning. I eventually stopped and just laid there and cried for awhile.

Logically, I know this isn't the result of some failure on my part. We've talked about it a few times and he's made it clear I wasn't doing anything wrong. That doesn't stop thoughts from creeping into my mind, though. I can't help but to feel like I failed in some way. I feel like an inferior person compared to just a few weeks ago. It's hard to describe. I know this happened a long time ago. I know he didn't do it because he felt neglected. But I'm still really sad.

If anyone has advice or thoughts to share I would appreciate it. I'm trying to make sense of this. I'm reading about forgiveness a lot right now. I'd like to find a healthy way to process my feelings and hopefully move on.
