No matter the level of eating noises this is an outburst that should not be taken lightly. If he does have issues with the sound of eating he should talk to a professional therapist in order to work on his issues. You seem to do everything you can to make your lives comfortable. You are NOT disgusting. He needs to make efforts to better himself so that he doesn’t hurt you over something so minor. That being said if it really is so serious that he can’t bear the sound of others eating then you can try reducing your chewing sounds or only eat while he is eating. I can see how eating while he is praying as being a stressor. But do not take this as if he is just having a small problem. If this is linked to a deeper psychological issue and he has already lashed out he could be potentially dangerous to your well-being and safety. Keep an eye out for red flags that he might injure you physically instead of emotionally.

If he is otherwise a loving husband then there is nothing to overthink because he might be in a bad mood and he actually hates the noise so he over reacted. If he takes all your things for granted and you know in your heart that he is actually disgusted of you then I am sorry to point out that your red pill is working against you. There is always a danger of being treated like a doormat when you treat someone like a God. You gotta give each other some breathing space, step back, don't overdo the duties and take out time for yourself. If he points out that you are disgusting next time then just say okay and move away and don't give too much attention to him. Red pill only works when you know how to set boundaries!
