Whenever my partner gives me feedback or tries to ask me to improve something, he always uses irony , like ‘oh sure ... your homework will do themselves ’ it really really annoys me and is really condescending I feel. I wish he would just say ‘babe I think you should do your homework?’ And I’ve raised it and asked him to not be so condescending and just tell me straight up, but it just makes things worse and we end up having a fight . Is this just a STFU moment as he is trying to help me improve on things and has good intentions? And I shouldn’t correct him .
