Hi, sorry for the late reply. This is very hard. I am a Christian and my dear husband is an atheist. It was very hard for me to deal with for many years. We talked before marriage and I guess I had this vague assumption he would come back to his faith (my first mistake). I assumed his lack of belief was due to an event in his life where he was hurt because of someone's religion and not due to his own thought process (my second mistake). Then I got frustrated as my faith continued to grow with child birth and his remained constant (my third mistake). My job is not to change him but my job is to model my faith through action. Interestingly, after 10 years of staunch atheism he has mellowed towards it and said as he ages he could see himself embracing religious belief. The biggest issue our difference created was what we teach our children. Basically we are just honest and tell them we have differing beliefs. Our children are free to figure out their own beliefs and we have created a very nurturing environment surrounding freedom of belief, a concept upon which my country🇺🇸 was founded. Have you googled your question? I remember finding many people in the same boat as myself and their articles had some sound advice. Basically, for me, I bring the light to my husband through my whole being and abide by the Golden rule.

John Piper, from Recovering Biblical Manhood & Womanhood:

Masculinity:

At the heart of mature masculinity is a sense of benevolent responsibility to lead, provide for and protect women in ways appropriate to a man's differing relationships.

Femininity:

At the heart of mature femininity is a freeing disposition to affirm, receive and nurture strength and leadership from worthy men in ways appropriate to a woman's differing relationships.

Commentary:

I do not mean to define femininity merely as a response to whatever sinful men may happen to offer up. Mature femininity is rooted in a commitment to Christ as Lord and is discerning in what it approves. Mature femininity has a clear, Biblical vision of mature masculinity... But when a man does not possess mature masculinity the response of a mature woman is not to abandon her femininity. Rather, her femininity remains intact as a desire for things to be as God intended them to be. But she also recognizes that the natural expression of her womanhood will be hindered by the immaturity of the man in her presence.

But even where a Christian wife may have to stand with Christ against the sinful will of her husband, she can still have a spirit of submission - a disposition to yield. She can show by her attitude and behavior that she does not like resisting his will and that she longs for him to forsake sin and lead in righteousness so that her disposition to honor him as head can again produce harmony.
