Going in to college, I wanted to make a shit load of money in STEM. I wanted to grind, have no life and be super successful. I assumed that I wouldn’t care to have a family and that I’d be happy with a successful career and meaningless hook up sex.

I’m a junior finishing up a degree in information science and honestly? I think I regretted pursuing STEM. I think it’s super cool to work with computers and all that jazz, but it’s such a fucking time commitment. I love that you have to constantly learn and brush up on your skills, but I also am concerned about the culture of it. I hear horror stories of treatment towards women at work. How you have to be smarter than everyone else or else you will be ostracized.

At this point, I want a career but I don’t want to be consumed with constant job training and the emotional turmoil of not being wanted at work. When I was BluePill, sure! Why not? I don’t have to worry about marriage or finding a husband so I could spend all my energy on studying and being masculine in the workplace. Priorities have changed for me.

I feel like less technical job that’s not so mentally demanding would allow for a better work life balance. Yes I want to make decent money and be a professional, but outside of work I want to make the most of my time as a young woman. Outside of work I want to spend my time going out, working on my femininity (working out, plastic surgery, skin care, cooking) and husband shopping lol. I want to have a vibrant social circle, meet tons of people, travel, and culture myself!

Sure I’ll take a pay cut, but I’m hoping if I play my cards right I can find an established older husband so I don’t have to worry SO much about $.
