When writing a post, it's always a good idea to get a second, (and sometimes third) opinion. You want to be aware of the tone you set, the information you include, and the statements you make.

If you decide to mention a specific user, or reference a post someone has written on a RP sub - it's common courtesy to reach out to that individual ahead of time, and make sure they are comfortable with what you have to say. This is particularly important when mentioning a Mod or EC - because the very presence of their name lends weight, suggests support, and indicates approval of everything you write in that post.

Carefully consider the title you use. Claiming that something is specifically "RPW" is not a small thing. You need to feel confident that your words are in line with the ideas and methods of this community.

The Moderating team is always available, and willing to help. Whether it's as simple as proof-reading your draft, brainstorming, or helping you find resources.

There are a lot of things that can go sideways with posts, so it's definitely worth taking some extra time to have other people weigh-in on what you want to say.
