Guys here asking us for advice?

It seems like a lot of times guys who ask for advice here are asking about certain female behaviors, such as "my girlfriend is doing X, does this seem reasonable?" On TRP they will probably receive a lot of advice to automatically next her even for the smallest conflicts or infractions. Since we specifically focus on LTR's we are more likely to gear our advice toward that. I'm happy to offer some female perspective to help men get a better grasp on where their SO's may be coming from, but I definitely try to shy away from advising them on specific actions to take. I think it can be useful for men to come here to get a female perspective, but I do NOT think men should be coming here asking us to advise them what to do with that information.

If they're asking advice about their SO's behavior, we're more likely to be able to give some decent insight, since we do focus on female behavior.

However, if they're asking for dating advice in general (frame, etc.), they probably should go to AskTRP. Although I can give advice on what I like, it may not be accurate to what my SO actually does to attract me.

I am a man who asked a question here a few months ago, and I will try and lay out why I chose RPW. I was asking where one might find a RPW, if there were any common denominators of sorts that would help me. It seemed better to ask here, where there is a community of them. They know each other a bit and would be able to answer my question better than TRP saying just keep going through women until you find one you want to keep on a bit longer. (These are my best recollections of my thoughts leading up to asking a question here.)

Well, it's a little hard for me. At least I'm dialed into the things that turn me on, but it's still hard giving advice on how to get there. I know the basic formula that my SO uses, but I don't entirely know what he would do in any situation. Sometimes, I don't entirely know exactly what he did and why it worked. I often want to reply to these guys, "Well here's my thoughts, but you should really ask my SO! He knows better than I do."

I don't think it has that potential at all because most of the posters at RPW don't hesitate to share the truth and a lot of them have great insight on both TRP and RPW versions of situations. It may have the potential to be a crutch for guy's to come here looking for a different answer from what they would get at TRP, though. As in, they will expect our words to not be as harsh or explosive. Females typically answer questions differently then a male would, but that doesn't mean that the females here are by any means going to sugar coat information.

Any advice is better than the bluepill drivel being dished out in relationship-dedicated subs mentioned in the OP.

Another unplugging man who asked the nice ladies at RPW for advice- not about relationship per se but about dealing with swallowing TRP and learning game and deciding whether to leave my SO and start spinning plates or try to repair a near dead marriage. I asked RPW because as Baker explains I did not want a bunch of PUA's answering that question.
